Evangelism at St. Margaret's
Welcome to our Evangelism page. We are glad you are here!
On page 305 of The Book of Common Prayer, as part of the Baptismal Covenant, we are asked this question: “Will you proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ?” And we answer: “I will, with God’s help.”
Evangelism is sharing the Good News of God in Christ. Sometimes it takes the form of example, things we do in our community or in our world. Sometimes is takes the form of word, sharing our story with others and listening to their stories.

At St. Margaret’s, we are ALL evangelists. We have two Lay Evangelists in our parish who have been licensed by our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Susan Brown Snook: Jim Duke and Samantha Hirsch. They lead our Evangelism Team.
