Overview of Worship

Sunday worship is at 8 and 10 a.m., except on Christmas Day and the last Sunday of January, when there is no 8 a.m. Eucharist. The 8 a.m. Eucharist normally is Rite One, and the 10 a.m. Eucharist is Rite Two, making use, on occasion, of the Enriching Our Worship series.

We celebrate Holy Eucharist, Rite Two as a simple Prayer Book liturgy Saturday evenings at 5 p.m. from November through April, using the propers for the following Sunday. The Saturday evening Eucharist is not celebrated on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. When they fall on a Saturday, the following feasts are observed rather than the Eve of the Sunday that follows: Holy Name, Epiphany Day, the Presentation, and All Saints’ Day. On the Eve of Easter Day, the Great Vigil of Easter at 8 p.m. replaces the regular Saturday evening 5 p.m. Eucharist.

We celebrate Holy Eucharist with Intercessory Prayer for Healing on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret’s Chapel except on Christmas Day and Ash Wednesday,  when the Eucharist is celebrated in the Nave.

Regularly scheduled worship also includes the following:
