Texts appointed for use in worship, "The Lectionary"
The Episcopal Church follows the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) for its Sunday worship. Throughout the year we remember men and women whose lives inspire us to live well as we follow the Lord and each day is marked with special readings. The Lectionary Page is an online source for all these readings. The Bible verses are taken from the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) of the Bible.

All followers of Christ and all those seeking a deeper relationship with Christ know that they are to listen to and study the words of Christ learning from his words and his example; and they also know that they are to find ways to imitate Christ as they serve others, as they study with others, as they give glory to God with others, as they pray with and for others, in short, they understand that all they say and do is to be done for the glory of God. In order to live into this, a follower of Christ finds strength and inspiration within the community, the People of God, the Church. Welcome to St. Margaret's Episcopal Church a place to find strength and inspiration.
