The following reports were offered at the 2019 Annual Meeting:
JOHN WRIGHT-DIRECTOR OF MUSIC
The year 2018 was a very good year of music making at St. Margaret’s Church. As the Director of the music program/ministry, I can say with great pride that the highlight for me would be the many people involved with our choirs and Desert Friends of Music who have been wonderful examples of dedication to their cause. I am, of course, most proud of our choirs and the tremendous number of hours they spend learning and preparing our weekly music offerings as we contribute to every worship service. It is a true privilege for me to be able to work in the midst of such great people!
BETTY BAXTER-CHAIR OF ALTER GUILD
The St. Margaret’s Altar Guild Ministry celebrated the blessings of service by preparing communion for thousands of worshipers, a hundred shut-ins, numerous funerals and celebrations of life; by polishing silver and brass, laundering sacred linens, and sharing the joys of camaraderie and fellowship.
GRETCHEN HUERING-CHAIR OF STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE
We closed 2018 in the black, due entirely to the dedication and hard work of our Stewardship Team; Robin Nugent, Judy Burton, and Meredith Hardy.
