The Rev. Dr. Clark W. Trafton has been a priest of the Episcopal Church since 1960. For 27 years he was also a monk in the Order of Holy Cross where he served for 9 years as Superior of the order. He has conducted mission work in the United States and Canada, throughout the Caribbean and in West Africa. His academic training was at Iowa State, where he earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics, and the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, which granted him both M.Div and D.D. degrees. He later studied at the Westchester Institute and worked as a psychoanalyst for more than 25 years. He and his husband, Lewis Kerman, have been part of St. Margaret’s for the past 12 years since they moved from New York City.
