Palm Desert
About The Cellar Door Thrift Shop
In November 2002, after over 14
years of service located in the undercroft of St. Margaret’s Episcopal
Church, the Cellar Door expanded to new commercial quarters (five times
larger) in the Las Sombras Center, Palm
Desert.
In October 2005 St. Margaret's Cellar Door moved to even larger
quarters in the old Stroud's Building on the corner of Magnesia Falls and
Highway 111.
Building on a firm foundation, the Cellar Door
Thrift Shop has prospered, and looks forward to continued
service.
Our outreach ministry now touches the lives of many hundreds of people each
year through local, national, and international organizations helping
others.
Our parish’s outreach efforts provide critical financial assistance to
charitable causes in the Coachella Valley and throughout the world, from the
proceeds of our St. Margaret's Cellar Door Thrift Shop.
In response to the teaching of Jesus and our
Christian tradition, volunteers from St. Margaret's also give generously of
their time assisting and participating in dozens of local charities
(including the staffing of The Cellar Door).

domestic violence and are also used to support the educational efforts of the
Wireless Foundation. Other phones are refurbished and become lifelines for
domestic violence victims when faced with an emergency situation.
