Father Dan recommends books by Philip Yancey
"Wrestling with Angels" is the title of a six class video series inviting participants to wrestle with the questions that both confound and grow the faithful man, the faithful woman, who is a disciple of Jesus Christ. On Wednesday, October 4, 2006 the class featured Philip Yancey responding to the question of pain and suffering in the life of a faithful person. Philip Yancey has written about this challenge directly in his book Disappointment with God.
Father Dan says, "I have found Philip Yancey to be thoughtful, reverent, and thought provoking in all his writings. I have no problem recommending any book written by Philip Yancey." Check this out for yourself. Order a book from this link and Maggie's Corner and the Church will benefit from the sale.
