HELPING CHILDREN DEAL WITH LOSS

An Educational Study Group

For Adults to Help Children Deal with Death, Divorce, Pet Loss, Moving, and Other Losses

“My son’s dog just died, and he is very sad.  I don’t know what to

                        do to help him!”

“I have accepted a fabulous job in another town, and we are planning

to move.  My children are very upset.  What can I do to help them deal

with the emotions caused by the move?”

“My daughter’s friends made fun of her on the playground.  She is

devastated, and I don’t know how to help her.”

“My grandchildren’s father died, and I want to know how to help them.”

In this program, we will
